On May 31, 2008 pure therapy entered into its next stage of evolution. The centre in Scarrots Lane is now closed as Eva's focus has shifted towards healing and art, and an increasing proportion of her work is done outside in nature. Find out more about this at her new website.

Full Moon Shamanic Journey - Meet the Ancestors. Riverside Centre, followed by the TranceDance journey below. The winter months are inviting us to draw within, review the past and incubate new ideas... late October/early November is traditionally a time where we honour our ancestors. A shamanic journey is a great meditative visualization technique for tapping into universal wisdom and searching for understanding and healing. Facilitated by Eva Wolfram. No previous experience necessary, introductory lecture. See below for more details.
We will start our ancestral evening with the shamanic journey and will allow this journey to flow seamlessly into the TranceDance session. If you wish to prepare for your journey, you can

Updated starting time! Friday, October 26, 7pm-9.30pm.
Full Moon TranceDance - Moving meditation and life tool. Riverside Centre, Function Room. £10. This dance journey will lead you from ancient evolutionary stages to your immediate ancestry and is an opportunity for you to explore your connection with your ancestors. Allow the wisdom, the knowledge, the abilities and the perspective of those who walked (and swam or flew...) before you to surface from deep within and transform you. May your journey be blessed!
We will start this dance journey with a guided shamanic visualization (see above) lying down on the floor, so if you wish to make yourself comfortable bring a mat and/or a blanket. Bring your bandana if you have one, and an object which holds ancestral significance for you.

As a special hunter's moon celebration, Wight Druids are holding a full moon drumming ceremony later that evening, weather permitting. Perhaps you'd like to come along? Bring a drum if you have one and wear layers of warm clothing. Exact details about location etc will be available on the night, and I'm sure we can organize car shares etc for those who come to the Riverside on public transport. Celebration will finish around midnight.

Winter Solstice Labyrinth - at Yaverland beach. Sun rises at 8.04 am. We will create a walkable tidal labyrinth on the beach and greet the first sunrise of the new year. Those of you who join us the night before at the Riverside centre will have an opportunity to include the labyrinth walk into your winter solstice journey.
