About pure therapy

Pure Therapy in Scarrots Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight

Pure therapy was brought to life in 2005 by four alternative health practitioners to provide a calm, professional and easily accessible treatment environment from where they could practice in Newport on the Isle of Wight.

In July 2006, co-owner Eva Wolfram took over pure therapy to establish a centre for high quality preventive and alternative healthcare on the Isle of Wight, offering both treatments and health-related workshops and events.

»To heal trauma and gently awaken more power and awareness is my focus, and this focus is reflected in my work at pure therapy.« Eva Wolfram

On May 31, 2008 pure therapy entered into its next stage of evolution. The centre in Scarrots Lane is now closed as Eva's focus has shifted towards healing and art, and an increasing proportion of her work is done outside in nature. Find out more about this at her new website. A limited number of conventional therapy sessions remains available by arrangement. You can ring or email me to discuss.

Eva Wolfram

Eva Wolfram has lived on the Isle of Wight since 1995. Her passion for the healing arts led her to study many different healing approaches, for example reflexology, the powers of crystals, scents and sounds, traditional body massage, the Trager® Approach and Jin Shin Jyutsu energy balancing as well as shamanic healing and visionary trance work.

She has worked successfully as an alternative health practitioner on the Isle of Wight since 2003, offering conventional body-centered treatments as well as her own specific approaches. As head of staff and assistant to international teacher and healer Wilbert Alix she was involved in the organisation and running of group retreats and workshops both nationally and internationally.

Eva Wolfram is also a visionary artist and creates visionary imagery, objects, installations and participatory events. Here, her main interest lies in nature-related healing and spiritual evolution through art. She is currently exploring ancient intentional transformation techniques by creating a series of tidal beach sculptures and tidal labyrinths.
